ABOUT THE BOOK
This book, ‘Was it Worth It? – Episodes from the Publication of a Book’ narrates the gruelling experiences that the publication of a College Reference Book had to be taken through. The story begins with the conception of an idea through all the gathering pieces of information, phases of compilation and editing of the script. It also covers the pain in sourcing for the required to have the script published as well as preparation for the book launch and immediate aftermath.
Though a true story, certain characters in the episode are given pseudonyms in order to conceal their identities. Beyond the value of a story, the book intended to provide lessons on attitudes and human behaviour and how people ought to be measured in their expectations during team assignments.
At the end of the story the reader is left to answer the question as to whether or not, the entire episode was worth it.
