In the early 1980s, a Nigerian gospel group, Bro. Henry Jackson and the Disciples had a album titled, ‘Sing Hallelujah’ and that album was a favorite in our home.

In one of the songs that dwelt on our preparedness for eternity, the song outlined vices to be weary about. These included Cheating, Murder, Lying, Bribery and Corruption that have failed and polluted our lives today, and Idol worship in the modern ways.

Over the years as I grew up, I’d once a while be wondering exactly what ‘IDOL WORSHIP IN THE MODERN WAYS TODAY’ meant. However today, it’s so clear what that statement means. Sad, how some people are allowing the Old Time Religion to appear.
